Arenicola brasiliensis, as an example, is a burrower that ranges to 18 cm, and is common in kelp forests. It lives in J-shaped burrows. May be found in crevices on rocks or in sandy patches between rocks. Nemertea are also known as proboscis worms, ribbon worms, némertes, némertiens, nemertea, nemertíneo, and rhynchoela.
