Owl Pellet - Size 1-1/2 inch minimum $2.60

Owl Pellet - Size 1-1/2 inch minimum*.

Forensics Lab Supply Number 9940200.

I would caution anyone who would use owl pellets for dissection that you must have your students wash their hands thoroughly after working with owl pellets. In purchasing owl pellets, only buy from suppliers who use methods of steam Pasteurisation. No one can guarantee the all parts of an owl pellet are sterile, but the use of steam and pressure comes closest to the reducing the number of harmful organisms.

*Though, for the most part, the Standard Owl Pellet is a minimum of 1-1/2", owls do capture and eat animals in all sizes. Sometimes the skeleton of a very small animal is regurgitated in a single pellet. It is for this reason that we often include them along with the larger Standard pellets.

If you'd like us to email the owl pellet dissection instructions to you, contact us at Staff (AT) grauhall.com.

Purchase orders may be sent email to staff (AT) grauhall.com..
